- Annotation: The relevance of the study is determined by the transformation of state policy towards persons with disabilities in the Russian Federation. This trend is reflected in the shift from a medical to a social model of rehabilitation for disabled persons, and in an institutional demand for the introduction of stationary replacement technologies (assisted living, work inclusion). The aim of the article is to provide a theoretical basis and empirical verification of innovative psychological and pedagogical support technologies aimed at active socialization of young people with disabilities. The methodological foundation is the subject and ecopsychological approach, the concept of life competences, as well as the principle of “full cycleˮ in the organization of accompanying practices. The results of a survey of young people with disabilities and limited health carried out by CRP “Hand in Handˮ using descriptive statistics methods and content-analysis of open questions formed an empirical basis. Results of the study: high motivation of respondents to an autonomous lifestyle; hierarchy of barriers to employment (predominance of objective factors - inappropriate working conditions, lack of skills) was identified; the systemic role of mentorship was proven, which is required by most of the expanded responses. The necessity of designing psychological and pedagogical support technologies, integrating the development of applied social and work skills with the institute of mentorship in all stages of socialization (full cycle) is justified. Scientific novelty consists in the theoretical substantiation of the model of active socialization through the development of life competences and empirical identification of key deficits that hinder the realization of the subject potential of young people with disabilities.
