Annotation: The article discusses the main aspects aimed at developing the readiness and competence of social work graduates to implement measures related to the implementation of sociotechnological support for national security and defense. The article highlights the features and conditions of professional activity that take into account the prevention of risks in the areas of terrorism and extremism among children and young people. The article identifies the factors that contribute to reducing social tensions caused by threats to national security. The presented statistical and athletic data indicate an increase in risk factors caused by both external threats and internal processes in social relations. The willingness of a social worker to solve professional tasks set at the state level is a prerequisite for their effective work and a component of the country's national security. The organization of this process is characterized by special approaches, multi-vectority, and inclusion in the educational cycle of disciplines aimed at developing socio-legal, socio-technological, and socio-informational competencies. A social worker in the new approach format must be fully prepared to build and implement a model aimed at ensuring the socio-informational security of service recipients, coordinating interagency activities, and taking specific steps to address professional challenges. Solving this issue allows graduates to be competitive in the job market, to integrate effectively into the work of social institutions, and to find effective approaches to working with different categories of service recipients.
Keywords: readiness, graduate, social work, sociotechnological support, national security.
