- Annotation: The article is devoted to the issues of continuity of the educational environment in the domestic educational space in the context of the formation and strengthening of Russian civic identity. The authors have analyzed scientific and pedagogical literature, the regulatory legal frameworks, as well as pedagogical practice in educational institutions of the Lugansk People's Republic. The continuity of the educational environment is considered in three planes. Thus, the dialectics of the influence of the main agents of socialization on the developing personalities of students are traced: the family, preschool and extracurricular institutions, schools, higher educational institutions, social movements, and religious organizations. It is shown that the state plays a consolidating role in the value-based content of the educational influences on the younger generation from various agents of socialization. In addition, the continuity of educational influences is shown through the prism of important aspects of the content of preschool, school (primary and secondary general), and higher education. Special attention is paid to academic subjects and disciplines of the social and humanitarian cycle. Finally, the educational environment is examined in the context of the formation of traditional spiritual and moral values (such as family, work, and collectivism, the priority of the material over the spiritual, patriotism and citizenship, historical memory, and the continuity of generations). Important trends in the regional specifics of the formation of Russian civic identity have been identified. It is concluded that the continuity of the educational environment in the educational space of the Lugansk People's Republic is an important pedagogical condition for the formation of the Russian civic identity among the younger generation.
