- Annotation: The article presents the results of a study of the level of information and psychological security of young people in the digital environment. The purpose of the study was to assess information and psychological security and identify potential risks to the mental health and adequate worldview of the younger generation. The study was conducted in two stages: a focus group to study young people's perceptions of security and an assessment of their level when using digital technologies. The results showed a fairly high level of digital security in terms of personal data protection, responsible behavior online, critical thinking and protection against malware. However, two problem areas were identified: lack of restraint in the use of digital technologies, leading to digital addiction and dependence on social networks, and vulnerability to online manipulation and recruitment by extremist and destructive organizations. The findings highlight the need to develop and implement additional measures aimed at developing a conscious and responsible attitude to the use of digital technologies, as well as increasing resilience to psychological influence in the online environment.
