Annotation: The article presents an analysis of approaches to studying the category of resilience, which is an important personality characteristic in the modern world. The period of youth is a time period characterized by a significant increase in an individual's activity, and it is also a stage of life during which important choices, decisions, and actions are made, requiring the resolution of complex challenges, often related to the personal development of young people in the context of new social realities. Military service, as well as higher education institutions, regardless of their civilian or military profile, serve as an environment that contributes to the development of resilience in young people, which has specific characteristics presented in this study.
