- Annotation: The article is devoted to the issues of providing assistance to students with impaired health based on an individual approach. The conclusions drawn in the article are based not only on the analysis of theoretical research, but also on the practical experience gained in organizing the functioning of special medical groups at Kaluga State University (KSU). The model of providing individual assistance to students with impaired health proposed in the article includes: the implementation of personality-oriented and individual wellness programs; the organization of individual classes in the form of cyclic aerobic physical exercises; the use of a Program of social and pedagogical assistance; the use of psychocorrection methods in working with students. A survey of students of special medical groups in 2023–2025 showed that after their participation in the implementation of the individual care model, the attitude of the survey participants towards their own health changed. Many students have come to the conclusion that they are responsible for their own health. The materials of the article can be useful not only for teachers of higher educational institutions, but also for teachers of professional educational organizations working with students with health problems.
