- Annotation: The article examines the features of research on spiritual and moral values conducted at the Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the last decades of this century. The review provides a description of the direction of research in the spiritual and moral sphere of education. At the same time, the most relevant works and original works of the staff of the educational organization in question are analyzed. The author of the article clearly shows the specifics of publication activity and the effectiveness of research in the field of spiritual and moral education of police officers conducted at the Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, describes the importance of individual scientific works for pedagogy. The article describes promising areas of further research on the formation of spiritual and moral values, analyzes the normative foundations of the pedagogical process aimed at educating the moral foundations of the personality of police officers. Thus, the study helps to identify relevant areas for further research on the process of formation of spiritual and moral values in the structure of internal affairs bodies.
