Annotation: The article continues a series of works devoted to the study of the psychological and socio-psychological characteristics of a representative of the moral elite of the late nineteenth and first half of the twentieth centuries, an outstanding Russian religious figure, scientist, surgeon Valentin Felixovich Voino-Yasenetsky (1877–1961). This study is devoted to the psychological and historical reconstruction of its subjective properties. For this purpose, the psychobiographic method developed by N.A. Loginova was used. The author of the method relies on the structural model of personality proposed by B.G. Ananyev highlighted such basic forms of human existence as the individual, personality, subject of activity, individuality. The socio-psychological characteristics of Voino-Yasenetsky as a subject of labor, knowledge and communication are considered. Based on the results of the qualitative analysis, the following socio-psychological characteristics were identified: attitude to his professional activity as a vocation; high work activity; upholding human interests in the profession; absence or overcoming fear of various obstacles in the implementation of professional activities; a pronounced tendency towards charitable activities; the need for a deep understanding of psychological, social, and legal phenomena and processes through their moral and religious component; a high level of compassion for people.
