Annotation: The article presents the results of a study aimed at analyzing the landscape of educational activities in universities of the Russian Federation. The research is based on the analysis of 2,014 practices submitted to the All-Russian Competition of Best Practices for the Implementation of Youth Policy and Educational Activities of Higher Education Institutions for the period 2022–2024. The methodological foundation of the work is the research-constructive approach, and the research tools included content analysis, semantic analysis, and statistical data processing, including Fisher's angular transformation method. The empirical base of the study was formed by structured descriptions of educational practices provided by 214 universities across the country. The conducted analysis revealed a number of stable trends characterizing the current state of educational activities in higher education institutions: the organizational dominance of practices initiated and implemented by vice-rector offices; the orientation of practice content towards students' personal development while maintaining a predominant event-based format; and a certain level of internal closedness of the university's educational system. Based on the results obtained, the authors have identified key vectors for the development of educational work in higher education: improving the methodology for goal-setting and methodological support of educational practices, expanding the involvement of the teaching staff in the educational process, and developing objective tools for assessing its effectiveness.
