Annotation: The aim of the study is to analyze the potential of chatbots as a tool to support the study and teaching of foreign languages, identify their key advantages and limitations, and develop recommendations for the effective integration of these technologies into the educational process. Results and Conclusions: The study confirms that chatbots based on artificial intelligence (AI) can significantly improve the effectiveness of learning foreign languages due to: personalization of learning (adaptation to the student's level); development of speaking skills (imitation of live communication); 24/7 availability (learning outside the classroom); instant feedback (automatic error correction). Chatbots are a promising direction in the digitalization of language education, but their potential can only be realized with an integrated approach that combines technological innovations with the professional development of teachers. Further research should focus on creating flexible integration models that take into account the specifics of various educational contexts.
