Annotation: The article raises the question of the comparison between unproductive forms of interaction with oneself and the world and the constituents of the moral component of spiritual capacities. It discusses unproductive interactions with oneself and the world that are associated with unproductive reflection, empathy, and guilt. It explores the contents of these concepts and notes that reflection, empathy, and guilt can take both productive and unproductive forms. The main objectives of the study are to: 1) Compare unproductive forms of interaction with the oneself and the world, such as unproductive empathy, reflection, and guilt, with each other. 2) Correlate unproductive forms of interaction with oneself and the world and the constituents of the moral component of spiritual capacities. 3) Сorrelate productive forms of interaction with oneself and the world (productive empathy and productive reflection) with the constituents of the moral component of spiritual capacities. Sample: 269 respondents: 136 females (50.6%), age 18-53 years, M=24.04, SD=8.76. The results of the study showed: 1) All identified forms of unproductive interaction with oneself and the world are interrelated and can be considered a general syndrome of unproductive personality manifestations. 2) All identified unproductive interactions with oneself and the world lack connection with the constituents of the moral component of spiritual capacities or correlate significantly negatively with them, indicating the incompatibility of spiritual сapacities with unproductive personality manifestations. 3) Productive forms of interaction with oneself and the world – productive empathy (decentration, fantasy, empathic care (M. Davis model of empathy)) and productive systemic reflection (the reflection model of D.A. Leontiev et al.) demonstrate a connection with spiritual capacities, depicting their specifics – ensuring effective and fruitful life activities.
