- Annotation: The article raises the issue of deficits in the training of future teachers as a parenting specialist. A brief review of the experience of diagnosing professional deficits is made. It is concluded that the problem of personal-professional deficits of future teachers as a parenting specialist in general and the provision of diagnostic tools for educational practice, in particular, is insufficiently elaborated. It is argued that it is necessary to integrate the competence, personal and axiological approaches in determining the deficits, ways and means of their diagnostics. The definitions of the concepts “personal-professional deficit” and “personal-professional deficiency” are proposed, the essence of personal-professional deficits and deficiency is specified. The concept of the questionnaire developed by the team of the research laboratory for studying the problems of correction of personal-professional deficits of future teachers as a parenting specialist of the Voronezh State Pedagogical University is presented. The criteria for diagnosing the personal-professional deficits of future teachers as a parenting specialist are socio-culturally determined personal-professional deficits (deficits of value choice); mastery of professional competencies; achievement of personal maturity. The indicators for each criterion are knowledge manifestations, attitudinal manifestations, and activity manifestations. The questionnaire includes three blocks of statements with a similar set of response options. The results can be processed both in relation to the respondents as a whole, and in relation to individual students (building an individual vector of education deficits and difficulties).
