- Annotation: In the extreme climatic conditions of the Far North, the preservation and promotion of the health of children and adolescents, the formation of a healthy lifestyle, and the value-based attitude toward health acquire particular relevance. The article describes the climatic conditions and the level of general morbidity among the child population of the Kola Arctic, and presents the results of a study on the value orientations of high school students from one of the schools in the Murmansk region in the context of the significance of the value of ‟health.” The diagnostic tool used was M. Rokich's value orientation methodology.
