Annotation: The hardiness of parents is a significant factor for the upbringing of children with disabilities. It allows you to overcome difficulties, support the child, develop him, and also not forget about personal development both in family life and beyond. The study involved 30 mothers raising children with NODA and 30 mothers raising normatively developing children. The following methods were used in the work: the test of studying the level of situational and personal anxiety of Spielberger-Khanin; the test of hardiness (S. Muddy in the adaptation of D. Leontiev); “Diagnosis of stressˮ (A.O. Prokhorov); the Beck depression test questionnaire; “Life Satisfaction Scaleˮ (Satisfaction with Life Scale - SWLS) by E. Diener (adaptation by E.N. Osin, D.A. Leontiev). The article continues a series of publications devoted to the problem of studying the personal characteristics of parents raising children with disabilities. The work revealed that the hardiness of mothers raising children with NODE is higher than that of mothers of normatively developing children, which may be due to the psychological and pedagogical support provided to them or the development of this resource due to its constant training. In both groups, a low level of depression was revealed, while in the group of mothers raising children with NODA, its indicator is even lower.
