- Annotation: The article presents the results of the analysis and reconstruction of the socio-pedagogical project of the Kostroma camp “Komsorgˮ 1974–1989 as a camp for Komsomol activists. An important place is occupied by holistic ideas about the Komsomol activists as a specific group of high school students in Soviet schools of the late socialist era. In the empirical part of the study, materials from the regional press, memoirs of direct participants in the events, materials from scientific research and publications of teachers of the Kostroma Pedagogical Institute, and materials from the State Archive of the Modern History of the Kostroma Region were used. Based on the analysis of the materials, the text substantiates the model of “the Komsomol activists’ camp as a social simulator” and characterizes the game component of the life of the children’s and adults’ educational community.
