- Annotation: The article examines the content, means, conditions and results of the formation of a responsible attitude among adolescents to the handling of weapons. The duration of the pedagogical experiment was 4 years. The study involved unarmeist associations operating under the KSU KO ‟Chentsovsky Center for assistance to children left without parental care”, OGBPOU ‟Kostroma College of Consumer Services”, MKOU Ikonnikovskaya secondary school of the Krasnoselsky district of the Kostroma region, the military historical club ‟Heirs”. The formation of a responsible attitude to any activity implies the cultivation of an individual's independence, self-organization, ability to cooperate, overcome helplessness, conscious adherence to legal and moral norms and rules in daily life. This process is characterized by duration, inconsistency, multifactoriality, is of particular importance in the modern world and Russian society, is based on real prerequisites in Russian history, theory and foreign practice to study the patterns of the phenomenon of interest and substantiate the methodology of its formation. The content of this process has a block structure, including target, value-semantic, motivational, behavioral, reflexive components, implies the use of hardening, education, interaction as means and is focused on compliance with the advanced pedagogical conditions: the creation of a multi-layered specific subject-spatial environment, saturated moral and legal practice and continuous monitoring of changes in volitional, emotional-value-based, effective and practical areas of personal development for timely correction of the organized process and regulation of the level of tension in relations with the group within it.
