This article examines the life and work of Anatoly Grigorievich Kirpichnik (1950–2021), who would have turned 75 in 2025. He dedicated his life and research to the history, psychology, and pedagogy of the children's movement in Russia. The article highlights scientific ideas and assertions that are relevant in Russia's current sociocultural context.
