- Annotation: The paper is focused on the study of the potential of the psychological game “Empathy Bingoˮ as an integrative psychotechnology aimed at an estimation and development of empathy in participants. Two studies are discussed: tthe primary approbation of the game “Empathy Bingoˮ and the study of its compliance with the target construct “empathyˮ and its effectiveness for diagnosing empathy. The first study involved 44 participants, mainly (75 %) girls and young women, 35 % of the sample were boys and young men (N total = 44; M = 17.15; SD = 1.35), and established the game’s three-stage structure. The second study, with 103 individuals of varying ages (M = 21.69, SD = 4.6), sex (62.14 % w. and 37.86 % m.) and backgrounds, assessed the game's first and third stages. Emotional intelligence questionnaire (TEIQue-SF), cognitive and affective empathy questionnaire (QCAE) were used in the study. The Empathy Bingo game focused more on the development of the affective component of empathy, including emotional contagion and peripheral sensitivity. The results of the study allow us to consider the psychological game Empathy Bingo is useful integrative psychotechnology as an auxiliary tool for measuring empathy levels and empathy development, particularly in group settings.
