- Annotation: The article reveals the main approaches to the study of educational tasks, their types and didactic functions. The specification of the types of school learning tasks in the natural sciences, the author's vision of such typologization, the relationship between the types of learning tasks in the natural sciences and their didactic functions, as well as the analysis of a survey conducted to systematize the types of learning tasks and their didactic functions used in natural science disciplines. The results obtained during the writing of this work can be used for further study of the types of educational tasks and their didactic functions in the natural sciences, for the creation of new teaching aids and problem books, as well as for the development of practical recommendations for school teachers in the natural sciences.
